I absolutely adored the charming and elegant decor of this lovely chateau. The grand reception area and beautifully furnished common spaces made me feel like a true lady of leisure. Plus, the chateau was easily accessible for a senior like me, with no steep stairs or difficult pathways to navigate. It was such a delight to relax in such a luxurious and senior-friendly environment.
The only thing I would ask for to make this vacation even better for seniors is a bit more assistance from the children working there. Just a little extra help with carrying bags or guiding us around the estate would have been wonderful.

The Chateau felt like a majestic fairytale castle, with its historic buildings and lovely views. The wine from the local winemaker was exquisite and the town of Fontenay le Comte was charming.
